Study Group: Beginning Qur'an and Tajweed

Since January 2000, AMILA has been hosting a weekly class in reading, recitation and memorization of the Qur'an, with included emphases on grammar, vocabulary and tafsir. The class will assume a basic reading knowledge, and rudimentary knowledge of Arabic vocabulary, sentence structure, and tajweed. The class will begin with surah at-Takathur and move backward through al-Bayyinah over the next year, inshallah. This is a good time for new sisters to join, if they would like. One need not be a member of AMILA to participate, and classes are free. If you are interested, please contact info(at)amila.org. (Note: This class is on hiatus until further notice.)
